The municipality of Waidhofen an der Ybbs commissioned a housing needs assessment to support development in line with residents’ needs and requirements. Municipal housing demand comprises several factors. The study analyses vacancies, housing and social structures, current average rents, planned housing developments and the municipality’s future housing needs. It follows a systematic, integrated mixed-methods approach implemented by an interdisciplinary team.
