Commissioned by ÖWG, the “Housing of the future” project developed recommendations based on data from 1,300 people. It examined differences in housing needs between owners and tenants, rural and urban residents, Austrian provinces, men and women, and different age groups. The findings were intended to inform ÖWG’s future new-build and renovation projects, as well as its communication with different groups.
